Welcome!
We are thrilled you are joining us for Reimagining Bookstores. We have been blown away by the enthusiastic response to our invitation. 600 of you have registered to participate! Participants span the spectrum of stakeholder groups, demographic segments, and geographies. Thank you to all of you who helped spread the word and expand the circle.
To ensure a quality experience for all participants we have brought on board additional hosts and put a lot of time into designing the format and flow of the gathering. The gathering will be organized using the principles of Open Space which is a powerful and radically democratic organizing method (no speeches/ panel discussions/ presentations). We ask for your partnership and understanding as we navigate through this adventure together.

Please plan on joining 5-10 minutes early. We will start on time.

TECH PREP
Participants will be expected to use both Zoom and Google docs throughout the gathering. Because we use features in the latest version of Zoom, please be sure to check for updates in advance, so that you have the current version of Zoom (Version 5.8). We strongly recommend using a device with a larger screen (desktop, laptop or larger tablet) and a stable high-speed internet connection. If you have audio problems on your computer, we have included phone dial in numbers as backup in the FAQ.
